It all started back in 2020 when a recent move and a pandemic sparked an idea and an opportunity. After said move, I realized I had way too many books to keep but that I couldn’t bear to part with them (you readers understand what I mean 😊). Hence the start of a private, Chistian library. The slower days of COVID-19 and an available space set the plan in motion. With the help of great staff members (where would I be without your skills, consistency, and dedication!), The Study Room opened its doors in June of 2021.
We quickly outgrew the cozy little room at the back of 247 Lincoln Street as a library of 800 books ballooned into 3700 with some housed on location and some in our annex. When the commercial space became available just beside us, it was an opportunity that couldn’t be passed up. The new location allowed us to consolidate all the library resources in one place along with room for the new storefront. This was a dream come true! God had put it on my heart to expand what we offer by making the printed Word of God more accessible and by having a go-to store for homeschooling resources and advice.
